   The game's story begins years after the events of The Forest. A team of private military contractors is sent to the island to search for a missing billionaire and his family. However, the team's helicopter is shot down, and the player character is stranded on the island with a deaf colleague named Kelvin.The player must work together with Kelvin to survive and find out what happened to the missing billionaire and his family. Along the way, they will encounter cannibals, mutants and other dangerous creatures. Players will also have to explore the secrets of the island and discover its dark history.
